Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu. You will be met at the airport by our representative and transferred to Hotel.
Day 2: Fly, Kathmandu To Nepalgunj
Morning sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. fly to Nepalgunj. The flight takes about an hour to reach Nepalgunj airport. Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Hotel Sneha.
Day 3: Fly, Nepalgunj – Simikot - Hilsa - Taklakot ( By Small Aircraft )
Early morning transfer to airport (10 minutes from Hotel) for flying to SIMIKOT (the administrative head quarter of Northern frontier of Nepal). You should go through the immigration formalities (put an exit stamp on your Passport) before you leave for China (Kailash). From here we will be picked up by 5 seater Helicopter, It is short flight of 15 minutes and from Hilsa after immigration check we shall reach Taklakot. Overnight stay in Guest House
Day 4: Rest Day In Taklakot ( Purang ) For Acclimatization
Today, you will have rest in Taklakot for acclimatization purpose. In fact, you have gained an enormous height within a day while coming in Taklakot, so before making any further journey to the higher elevation, your body should be acclimatized properly with the atmosphere in high altitude. So, it is significantly important to spend a day here for your health.
Day 5: Drive, Purang To Lake Mansarovar ( Chiu Gompa – 4550 M. )
Early morning (after breakfast) you will depart for Lake Manasarovar (4560 m- Chui Gompa). The drive takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. On the way, we will have a short break in Rakshas Taal (Lake Ravana) to take some pictures & observe the sceneries.
After taking a short break in Rakshas Taal, you will continue your journey to Lake Manasarover. Enroute we take holy dip in Mansarovar
Day 6: Drive, Darchen
Early morning (after breakfast) you will depart for Darchen and rest here and acclamitize.
Day 7: Drive To Yam Dwar Then Trek To Deraphuk ( 4920 M )
After break fast then drive to Yam Dwar (OR Serson, 10 kms / 4750m), the auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around Mt. Kailash. As well as, this is the sky burial sites of local Tibetan people. From here, you can see the closest view of Mt. Kailash.
Also, this is the particular place from where the group normally splits in two parts. Those, who are willing to perform the holy circumambulation around the Mt. Kailash will start trekking from “Yama Dwar” and the rest of the people who are not willing to go for trekking will return Darchen on Jeep/Bus and wait for others to come.
The trail to Deraphuk is easy & flat however because of the high elevation, you will find difficulty to walk. The total journey to Deraphuk Gompa (4890m/18 km). requires a 5 to 6 hours respectively. However, it depends on your pace.
Day 8: Trek To Zutulphuk ( 4780 M. ) Via Dolma Pass ( 5600 M. )
Early morning start up hill trekking to Dolma-La (5600 m). This is the toughest day of this journey. The entire trail up to Dolma-La is gradually up and from here the trail rapidly drops down to the next valley floor (Zutulphuk). The holiest water pool (glacial lake – Gauri kunda) is just situated beyond this pass. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva used to take bath.
After making down hill trek to the valley (the next side of the high pass), the trek up to Zutulphuk Gomba requires another two hours.
- Deraphuk to Zutulphuk Gomba: 9 hours
Day 9: Finish Trek Near Darchen Then Drive Back To Taklakot
Today, you will complete the circumambulation around Mt. Kailash. The trek will be finished near Darchen where our vehicles will be waiting to fetch you and transfer to Taklakot. Overnight in Taklakot or at Hilsa.
- Zutulphuk to trek ending point: 3 hours
- Darchen to Taklakot: 3 hours Camp
Day 10: Fly, Hilsa – Simikot (Helicopter) Then Continue Fly Nepalgunj And Kathmandu By Aircraft
Early morning (after breakfast), you will drive to Sher village then trek down to Hilsa (45 minutes) and take Helicopter flight to Nepalgunj via Simikot.
From Nepalgunj airport, Fly to Kathmandu.
- Hilsa to Simikot: 20 minutes flight.
- Simikot to Nepalgunj: 1 hour.
- Nepalgunj to Kathmandu : 1 hour
Day 11: Departure
Transfer to the airport and flight back home.

Booking & Advance Deposit
To reserve your place for the trips, please complete the Booking Form and send it with the advance deposit of INR 25,000 per person for Indian nationality or USD 300 per person for other than Indian nationality to our bank account. Note: In case of cancellation, deposit is refundable during the first 30 days of booking. However, service charge, bank transfer fee, and other charges may apply. If cancellation occurs after 30 days of booking, the advance deposit is NOT refundable under any circumstances.
FULL PAYMENT must be received before 30 days of your departure date. Without full payment one cannot commence their trip. No Exception Accepted.
If you wish to make amendments to your trip arrangements, you must notify Traveldost. in writing. Each amendment to your trip arrangements will incur an administration fee depending upon the situation. All administration fees must be paid before departure.
It is our most important aim that you enjoy your holiday and that we earn your trust. However, we are not responsible for any cancellation due to any industrial disputes, Technical failure of any type of transport we use, loss of earnings, late arrivals or force majeure, or any items beyond our control.
After booking, if you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Traveldost. in writing. Once Traveldost receives your request, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
If cancellation takes place before 30 days prior to your departure date, your full payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit:
If cancellation takes place in 7 - 15 days days prior to departure 75% of your payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to departure due to client’s personal problems, all previously paid amount(s) will be forfeited.
You declare and warrant that:
You are in good health and mental and physical fitness at the time of booking this trip.
You have disclosed to Traveldost every matter concerning your health and mental and physical fitness of which you are aware, or ought to reasonably be expected to know, that is relevant to Traveldost decision to permit you to go on the trip.
Route Changes, Postponement, Cancellation or Delay
Traveldost reserves the right to:
Change the date of departure or conclusion of the trip, or
Modify any aspect of the trip, or
Cancel or modify any routes within the trip or objectives set out in the itinerary, or
Substitute different or equivalent routes within the trip in place of cancelled or modified routes, or
Postpone, cancel or delay, any such aspect of the tour if, in the absolute discretion of Traveldost., it is necessary to do so due to inclement weather, snow or icy conditions or conditions that are otherwise likely to be hazardous or dangerous or due to any other adverse or threatening conditions whether political or military or terrorist or otherwise or if, in the absolute discretion of Traveldost., there is a likelihood of any such event occurring which may impact upon the safety of the participants, or if an act or omission of a third party prevents the tour or the aspect of the tour being undertaken in accordance with your booking. In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay under this condition, you acknowledges that you will have no right of refund of the tour price (whether in whole or in part) and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss or damage or other additional expenses incurred by virtue of the change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay. Traveldost. also reserves, in its absolute discretion, the right to cancel any tour due to any government travel warning or advice, or any change in such warning or advice.
Make a final decision that is binding in case of any differences or disputes during the trip.
Cancel a trip if a participant does not comply with all the formalities required by Nepalese and Chinese authorities’ en-route. Any participants carrying unlawful drugs, political propaganda, firearms or pamphlets will immediately be excluded from the tour without any refund.
Personal travel insurance is not included in the trip price. It is a condition of booking a trip with Traveldost, and your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the trip in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items and cancellation and curtailment.
Any material published by Traveldost, the Booking Form and these conditions of contract are not issued on behalf of, and do not commit any airline whose services are used or proposed to be used in the course of the trip. In the event that an airline’s proposed travel or fare schedule is amended or cancelled, such amendment or cancellation will not be considered a cancellation of the trip by Traveldost
The prices are based on ground costs, fuel prices, airfares, exchange rates and assumptions made at the printing of the brochure. Traveldost tries its utmost not to increase trip prices (in full or part), however sometimes increases are outside its control. Traveldost reserves the right to amend trip prices (or any part) without notice at any time before and including the departure date. Amendments may be necessitated for many reasons including, but not limited to, exchange rate fluctuations, increased fuel costs, airfares, airport charges, increases in ground operator service fees, or the need to engage alternative air or ground operators. Any increase in trip prices must be paid prior to the departure date.
Assumption of Risk
You accept and agree to assume all risk associated with the journeys and further agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Traveldost as described herein and its brochures and publications. In the event of illness, accident, weather, political and other factors beyond their control, I will not hold Traveldost and its agents, associates or employees responsible or liable for damages. I understand I am traveling at my own risk.
